It would be an honor to join you in worship, prayer, study, and community.
I bring a unique perspective to discussions on and inquires into discipleship, discernment, vocation and faith. I am an Episcopal priest working for social justice and parenting two school-aged children with my spouse. I know the demands of professional and home life. I've learned how to pray for a heart that is soft and warm and sweet, lest a heart of stone take up permanent residence in my soul. This is what it means to me to take heart and be of good courage: to pray for an ooey-gooey-chocolate-brownie-like heart and then to go out into the world with a love that seeks justice.

Finding Christ In the World
![Picture](/uploads/1/1/2/2/112200605/editor/img-4112.jpg?1508120589)
A prayer and study group designed for those seeking a communal experience of prayer, reflection, and dialogue, Finding Christ in the World is for seekers—those of us inclined to seek out and find Christ in our daily lives and in the world. We use "Finding Christ In The World: A Twelve Week Ignatian Retreat for Everyday Life," by Joseph A. Tetlow, S.J. and Carol Atwell Ackels, and gather weekly.
From the authors: "This is serious but it is far from dull... You can embrace the conversion of heart that shifts the tight focus on self to the graced focus on God-and-you-and-us... You are graced to embrace the mature conviction that God is continually, moment by moment, creating you out of chaos—the chaos of your own life experiences and the chaos rampant in your life world of the twenty-first century."
